Ok, something is really wrong with this computer or else both my bloglovin' and my blog is all f***** up!

Anyways, Morgan and Anna came home from Michigan today and now I'm sitting here with M and her neighbour Chase and his stepbrother Nick (13, 13 and 16) - What to do? I'm 21 and soooo stuck in the middle. Families everywhere around here with kids, but not a single person MY age. So, it's either kids or older grown-ups.. Love the families around here, they're real cool and stuff, but I feel a little lost though :S
Chase has been great company during my illness though, really nice talking too :))
Illness: My throat is so sore I have to whisper till about 1 or 2 pm until I can start using my voice just a little. It's been like that for two days, although it started already up in MI. It's only gotten worse since I came back to N.C., sooo :(
The kids have just started watching another movie, so I'll just get up to my bedroom now. All wiped out!

Boys all over
Skriver pa svenska denna gang eftersom det kanns mer hemlighetsfullt. Sitter i ett rum just nu med fyra pojkar i aldrarna tolv - sexton. De forsta jag hittills traffat i USA som ar lite som de folk jag vanligtvis hanger med i Sverige.
Och med tanke pa att jag mestadels hanger med pojkar darhemma i MIN EGEN alder kan jag bara saga att de inte forandrats mycket sedan denna aldern.. GOSH!!!
Naja, ska aterga till att snacka med pojkarna nu, innan det ar dags att ga hem och sova. Verkar bli en dag i poolen imorgon!

Naja, skriver mer senare, har inget Internet hos Patrik och Kristie just nu, det kommer pa mandag. Sa tills dess far vi se. Har dock tagit runt 500 bilder som jag maste sortera snart och lagga ut pa bloggen. Kanner mig gryyyyymt seg!!!
Oh well, ska natta pojkarna nu, av deras humor att doma ar det nog laggdags for dem och dags for mig att ga hem.

Michigan-sunburn and Ohio-amish
Finally on track with all your "new" posts on Bloglovin'. Gonna try and look it up a little more often. Took me about three hours to get through them all *Christ*
Spending my time in a hotel room in Michigan. Got a real nasty sunburn, hurts so bad. Spent too much time in the sun, hard not too, the sun's shining thorughout the days and it's hot hot hot!
Thinking about getting me some lunch (1:17 here, although in SWE 19:17 so good night in a bit :p). A McDonalds is pretty close by as well as a Subway-restaurant, plus a really nice store (tourist trap, oh yes) reeeeal nearby, which I have got to pay a visit too.
Anyways, one step closer (Bloglovin') to answering your comments and putting up some pictures.
So far I've been to six states (Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Michigan). Pretty cool!
In Ohio, we went by an amish market, where I met some amish people, which was really cool! Really nice people, regular but with outstanding clothes - what can I say? ;)
Was to take some pictures, although my camera battery decided to die on me at the time. . . That's life!

Monday, June 1 Arriving in the US for a three months stay. June 1 - Aug 22 (Back in SWE Aug 23).
Tuesday, June 2 Patrik (mom's cousin) shows me around Raleigh, North Carolina and takes me to a real U.S.-mall - and, oh yes, it's like what you see in the movies.
Wednesday, June 3 Getting accustomed to the pool outside of the Nystedt residence, and the day ends with a poolparty: family (Patrik, Kristie, Morgan and Anna), neighbours and the Swedish girl (MEEE, for those who hadn't already guessed whom I was referring to).
Thursday, June 4 Trying out the pool some more and baby-sitting Ryan (which didn't work out that well :p)
Friday, June 5 Pool again :D Going to Morgan's classroom in Middle School (think I've mentioned this in an earlier post) and the day ends with a party at some neighbours' house.
Saturday, June 6 Follow Patrik to the Home Depot and then we go by the Office Depot (yaaay!!!). Also went to Target to buy some groceries and the like ^^ before taking the girls (M and A) to the mall.
Sunday, June 7 Went to Wet 'n' Wild - a 90 minute drive - where you ride in different rollercoasterthingies on water. Also tanned for an hour in the end. Real nice ;)
Monday, June 8 Went to Office Max, which may be bigger than the Office Depot, but not at all as nice. Lots of office supplies, which is something I loooove to shop around for. Half my livingroom in my aprtmnt in Umea is my office ^^
Learned that the Nystedts' have 'Wing Night' Mondays so went to the Wild Wing-restaurant, not so far from here. Sticky fingers-alert though. Reeeeal sticky fingers!!!
Tuesday, June 9 Went to the mall (yes, once more) and later on Brier Creek, which is an "outside" shopping centre, somewhat like the Swedish towns/cities 'torg', but without these malls and such. Just really big stores and restaurants of all different kinds.
Wednesday, June 10 Kristie and the girls (including Zoey, the labradoodle) took me to the North Hills. OH MY GOD! - is all I can say. It's a place that simply defines America as seen on movies. Absolutely fabulous!! I could not stop staring around. That place is amazing!! I took tons of pictures, which I'll hopefully post here in a few days, but they do not do the place justice! It's a magnificent place, that North Hills!!! If you're ever around, GO THERE!!
Thursday, June 11 Off to the mall and Brier Creek once more (What? I'm in America!!). Morgan comes with me to Brier Creek though, wishing to enter the pet store. Cute puppies there :DD
Friday, June 12 Not up to anything special this day really. Sitting outside on the back porch, above the deck, cross-stitching :) Real good fun! Feeling all worn-out after the past close to two weeks' adventure. Before going to sleep I take Anna out for shooting some hoops (xD) on their col-du-sac (the streets atervandsgrand^^ :p)
Saturday, June 13 Spend my day with Kristie, Anna and a few neighbours partly in the pool, partly cross-stitching - a whole lot of cross-stitching ^^ Nighttime, Patrik and Kristie go out for a couples night out (no questions asked) and Anna comes with me babysitting baby Ella, 14 months and soooo adorable.
Sunday, June 14 A 19-yr old girl, Banks :), living just across the street comes over to hang out by the pool for a bit. Kristie, Patrik and Anna are at the golf-course. (And btw, Morgan is not forgotten, she's gone to Michigan with some of her relatives). And I also spend some time of the day doing what? You guessed it: Cross-stitches^^
Monday, June 15 Patrik takes me to Brier Creek to eat lunch at Red Robin - G.O.O.D. M.E.A.L.!!! Once again, Monday night means Wing Night so we're off to Wild Wing and the night is spent at the Nystedts' back porch, where Miss Pamela's (neighbour :)) birthday is celebrated.
Tuesday, June 16 Miss Amanda (neighbour) takes me to Adam & Eve (adult store =D) with sexxy thangs ;D Lots of fun! After dinner Patrik, Kristie, Anna, Zoey and I go for a little walk, and I spot this cute little snake on the middle of the road with no head... Do I need to mention it was dead? :p Nighttime I watched Little Miss Sunshine, which I really recommend to EVERYONE! *Never before figured how truly HOT a nerd brother can be*, although the whole film is capturing.
Wednesday, June 17 Turned down an offer of going to the movies with a neighbour to do laundry (yes, you need to be desperate before you do that! Truly needed my clothes to be cleaned! When Anna went home we drove to Brier Creek and Barnes & Nobles (bookstore, sort of like Bokia but with lots more titles in English and Spanish - surprise!!:p) We also went to the northern pet store (there is also a southerns one, yes, which is also the one me and Mojo went to on the 11th) to get Zoey a new name-tag, since she ripped the last one off. Called Kristie from there and asked if she's like to come to the Red Robin to have dinner there. Told ya it was good food ^^ (Btw, we DID eat there!) Nighttime I watched Amelie, a French movie, which probably would have been good if I weren't sooo tired and the film itself sooo long. Although I did figure, she's one of a kind that girl. Really weird ;p
Thursday, June 18 a.k.a. Today Have taken the computer outside, sitting above the pool deck writing. Really hot today, wonderful, been somewhat chilly for a few days now, although it's probably been around 20-25 degrees Celcius :p Sorry, I'm spoiled by now. Probably going to freeze to death when I get back to Sweden *gaah*
A few neighbours have just entered the pool, so I think I'm going to try and be a little social in a bit.
Don't have anything special planned today, just going to chill before going to Stoney Lake, Michigan tomorrow. Will be away Friday-Sunday the week after, so about 9 days probably. Hoping to have some sort of Internet access though.
As promised, I have taken pictures, just going to have to find the time to post them!

Morning has broken
Soo hot here. Just talked to mom on the phone. Found out sis is going to Turkey with one of her friends. *spoiled brat* :p
Have Zoey on the floor right next to me. All wiped out!!
Close to midday, a neighbour was to swing by and pick me up at 10 - still waiting for her arrival. She was to take me to the Farmer's Market and then go lunch together. I'll just wait and see what happens!!
I've become real nasty bitten by mosquitos, itches aaall over my legs. Annoying? I'll say!!
Thinking of taking a quick dip in the pool! Would be nice, I believe! ;))

Today's workout ;)
It's now 9.37 PM and we're finally back home again (3.37 AM Swedish time).
Wet 'n Wild was fun even though you had to spend hours and hours in line, so there wasn't really much time for other things. I had my very first Burger King-burger today on our way back home and I'm getting really fond of ICEE Blue Raspberry, haha. Growing accustomed fairly easy, oh yes!
As soon as we got back we went over to the neighbours (Pam and Randy - LOVE THEM!!!!), they had a little gathering (as well as two smaaaall dogs - so beautiful AND cuuuute!!! :)))
On my way back to the house I played some basketball on the col-de-sac (or however that's spelled) and then went directly to the shower.
Was going to bed, since Morgan and Anna did that, but Patrik practically forced me to come down and watch a movie with them: The Da Vinci code. So I thought I'd better ^^
Tomorrow I'm going to Office MAX, an even greater store than Office Depot - can't wait!!! :D

Rainy days
Good morning everyone!
On the U.S. eastcoast it's 10.30 AM. Yesterday was really busy, among others things I have now officially visited my first All-American bookstore. How cool is that?!! :D
Although they do not seem to have the same separation between different types of books so it was kind of confusing :p
This morning I lay in bed, wondering "Won't they EVER get up??". At last I walked downstairs and apparently they'd been up for about an hour... *Christ!*
Last night was a lot of fun as well. Neighbours got together to celebrate Cheryl's birthday (never met her before, but she threw a nice party^^).
Today I don't know what's going to happen. I believe I'm taking Anna to Target after 2 PM but other than that, we'll see.

It's driving me nuts to type in Swedish without all letters needed.
It's about 10 AM here in Raleigh and the girls are in school, Kristie's at work and Patrik's getting himself ready to leave for his. I believe I'm supposedto drive him to the airport and then take the car back here, since I need it to go to Morgan's school. Her class teacher has invited me to come to school and talk to an entire class of thirteen year-olds about what it's like to live in Sweden.
Well.. Uhm.. Normal? 0:-p
And how do you make anything interesting for thirteen year-olds? Any tips? Be glad to take them^^
Anyhow, the babysitting last night didn't exactly go as planned. Ryan was screaming the whole time. First he wanted just one more cookie, just one more, one more, one more....... And then he did not want to take a bath, nor put his jammies on or "go nighty-night" (his words, not mine), sooo.. He seriously shrieked(!!!) for two hours more or less. Meantime Rachel was the perfect angel, helping me out with Ryan and trying to make it real easy on me. THANK YOU, Rach!!!! Sweetheart <3
Thinking about taking Zoey for a walk now. Don't know if it'll work for me today after the squirrel-chase yesterday, when she almost pulled my arm put of it's socket. Still hurting a whole lot!
Last night I was trying to lift some plates up after dinner and I had a really hard time carrying them... *not so good*

In Raleigh, NC, USA // Relatives, neighbours and poolparties - Sweeeeet!!
Insag just att det var tre dagar sedan jag skrev. Oops!!
Som ni kanske ser pa min brist av tre bokstaver i det svenska alfabetet sa ar jag framme i Raleigh!!
Flygresan gick jattebra, tog tid i tullen i Philly, men resten av resan gick problemfritt.
Klockan ar just nu 10:00 pa morgonen sa jag antar att det i Sverige ar fyra pa em redan. Haha!!
Igar tillbringade jag storre delen av dagen i poolen, typ 40 grader i luften under dagen, sa har inte mycket till val. Maste ju svalka mig!!
Morgan och Anna ar pa skolan, Kristie pa jobbet och Patrik, som arbetar som pilot, ska ivag om en halvtimme. Sedan kommer jag nog vara ensam i fem timmar innan Morgan kommer hem igen och ytterligare en timme innan Anna kommer. Har atminstone Zoey till sallskap - en "labradoodle" (labrador+pudel) under dagen. Hon ligger for tillfallet doendes pa golvet framfor mig, tror hon mojligen sover.
Har lovat massor av bilder, sa det kommer!!! Har dock inte riktigt kommit "i fas" annu, men det gar battre dag for dag.
Alskar det faktum att det man ser pa film faktiskt existerar i verkligheten: som de grona vagskyltarna, yellow schoolbuses, school buildings tatt intil varandra; elementary school, middle school, high school.. Helt fantastiskt!
Igar kvall var jag med om mitt forsta poolparty, med pizza, bad och massa grannar. Soooo much fun!!! :DDD
De har verkligen grannsamverkan har, barnen ar ute och leker pa hornet av gatan, de har en korg med basketbollar och fotbollar utstallda i vandzonen dygnet runt och familjerna umgas med varandra flitigt, stannar och pratar narhelst de traffas under dygnet, gar over till varandra dagligen - naaaagot Desperate Housewives-kansla har!! Haha!
Ska vara barnvakt ikvall at tva-hus-bort-grannen Lauras barn: Rachel och Ryan. Rachel ar 7 och Ryan 2-3 nagot.
Naja, ska ta och ga en runda med Zoey nu! Fa lite heeet, oinandbar luft och sen kanske ta en dopp i poolen.. Mest troligt!!^^
